Directions:


By Bus:  Galway-Ballina Service:

Alight at Cong/Ashford Castle gates.

Facing the gates, go left on the R345

and take the next right.  Hostel is on

the right side.


By Road/Car:  From Cong (2 km)

Take the Headford/Galway Road past

Ashford Castle Gates.  Take the next turn right.  The hostel is on your right after the

cemetery/graveyard.


From Galway:  before entering Cong, look

for hostel sign at the start of a high wall

and turn left.


From Dublin Airport:   At Airport Roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto the MI

(signposted Dublin).  Leave the M1 at Junction 3, then at roundabout, take the  3rd exit onto the M50 (signposted M50

Southbound).  Leave the M50 at Junction 7

(signposted Dublin, Sligo N4), then at

roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto the N4

(signposted the West).  Entering Dublin, at Junction 2, continue forward onto the Motorway M4 (signposted Sligo).  Leave the M4 at Junction 11, then at the roundabout take the second exit (signposted Galway).  At the roundabout, take the 1st exit onto Athlone Road - N6 (signposted Galway).  Continue forward onto the N6.

Entering Miltownpass, continue forward onto the N6 entering Rochfordbridge. 

Continue forward onto Main Street -N6

(signposted Galway).  At roundabout take the 2nd exit onto Upper Main Street -N6 (signposted Galway)  Entering Kilbeggan, continue forward onto the N6.  Entering

Moate, at roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto the N6 (signposted Galway), bear left onto N6.  Continue forward ion to the N6

entering Kilreekil at Fairfield roundabout,

take the 2nd exit onto N6.  At Monearmore

Roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto N6.

At Caherlavine Roundabout take the 2nd exit onto N6.  Continue forward onto the N6.  Entering Craughwell, at roundabout take the 3rd exit on to N6.  At roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto N6.  At Martin Roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto N6.

At Lynch Roundabout take the 2nd exit ionto N6.  Entering Galway, at Morris

Roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto N6 (signposted City Centre, Clifden N59).

At Font Roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto N6 (signposted Castlebar, Clifden).

At  Kirwan Roundabout take the 4th exit onto Headford Road - N84 (signposted Castlebar-Headford).  Continue forward

onto the N84 entering Headford.

Continue forward onto the square-R334

(signposted Cong).  Bear right onto the

R334 entering Glencorrib, turn left

(signposted Cong).  Continue forward

onto Dowagh West.  Bear right onto

Ballymacgibbon North.  Continue forward onto R345.  Entering Cong, turn left

onto Church Road.  Continue forward

onto Gortaroe.  Take the next turn right.

The hostel is on your right after the cemetery.
