  The Cavan Way traverses West Cavan -  a region of such interest that it is recognised as a European Geo-Park.

It includes an area of exposed limestone, Burren, rich in archaeology - megalithic tombs, rock art, cashels, an ancient sweat house.

The trail also passes by the source of the Shannon river - The Shannon Pot.  

You are sure to enjoy an afternoon on one of our finest walking trails.
