Location:    Ballinskelligs

                    Ring of Kerry

                    County Kerry

The Skellig Hostel is located in the heart

of Ballinskelligs. It is just off the “Skellig

Ring” which is a “secret ring off the

Ring of Kerry.”  It has spectacular views

over Ballinskelligs Bay. It is in the

Gaeltacht (Gaelic speaking) region.

Directions:
From Kerry Airport – 1 hour drive to Caherciveen, which is the nearest town to the Hostel. 4km outside of Caherciveen on the Waterville Road or “Ring of Kerry”, take the 2nd right hand turn at sign post for Ballinskelligs Village.

Through Ballinskelligs, stay on the main road, “Skellig Ring”, past the junction for Ballinskelligs Beach and Pier. At the top of this stretch of road, is another small junction with a very sharp bend. Slow down and drive through the junction (up the hill) taking care of the traffic coming from the left. The Hostel is the 4th building on the left with Ballinskelligs Hostel on the sign at the gate.

From Tralee and Killarney, (train & bus), take the N70 to Killorglin, and then take the same directions as above.
